		<description>I agree - in the UK my tip would be to check the price ticket ont he shelf - most supermarkets these days mark these with the cost per kg or cost per litre - making it simple to compare different sizes and different brands.

I noticed recently when I bought a can of a well-known energy drink that the smaller can was actually better value than the larger can - which I find surprising as I would normally expect a discount for buying in bulk.

It therefore pays to check before buying.</description>
