The best of them always admitted they couldn't believe they were getting away with it...not in terms of cheating (most don't cheat as such) but just in terms of being paid huge amounts of money for doing jobs most vaguely educated literate people could do. It's not been victimless either, because London property prices have gone through the roof after years of this, and are only just inching down. I’m sure most Londoners know people who work (or worked) in The City.
